World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated each year on March 21st to honour the lives, achievements, and contributions of people with Down syndrome. The date 21/3 represents the three copies of chromosome 21, which is unique to individuals with Down syndrome.

As the 21st falls on a Saturday this year, we will be celebrating on Friday 27th March by wearing blue and yellow mufti! 💙💛

Blue and yellow are the official colours of Down syndrome awareness. They symbolise positivity, optimism, and the bright futures of individuals with Down syndrome.
